GMCH Guwahati Vacancy Details
1. Project Research Scientist-II (Medical)
Vacancies: 1
Salary: Rs. 80,000 + 20% HRA per month
Essential Qualification:
- MBBS/BVSc/BDS with three years’ experience
- MBBS/BVSc/BDS with MPH/PhD
- MBBS/BVSc/BDS + Post Graduate Degree (including integrated PG Degree)
Desirable Qualification:
- MD in Microbiology/M.VSc/MDS or PhD preferred
- Three years’ R&D experience in Microbiology (molecular, sequencing, immunological)
- Knowledge of computer applications and data analysis
- Publications in indexed journals
Age Limit: 40 years as of 01.06.2025
2. Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)
Vacancies: 3
Salary: Rs. 56,000 + 20% HRA per month
Essential Qualification:
- First-class PG degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences or equivalent
- Second-class PG degree in above subjects with PhD
Desirable Qualification:
- Two years’ R&D experience in Microbiology/Biotechnology (molecular, immunological)
- Knowledge of computer applications and data analysis
- Publications in indexed journals
Age Limit: 35 years as of 01.06.2025
3. Project Technical Support-III
Vacancies: 3
Salary: Rs. 28,000 + 20% HRA per month
Essential Qualification:
- Three-year graduate degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Medical Laboratory Technology + three years’ experience
- Postgraduate degree in above subjects
Desirable Qualification:
- PG degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/MLT preferred
- Three years’ experience in Microbiology lab with computer knowledge
