Guwahati Metropol itan Drinking Water & Sewerage Board (Guwahati Jal Board) is implementing the Water Supply Project in the city of Guwahati. The partial commissioning for the water supply scheme is scheduled by early 2017. For providing the house service connection there is a huge requirement of Plumbers. The total requirement will be for 300 numbers initially which will be scaled upto 2000 numbers over a period of time.

Qualification: ITI passed ( including freshly passed) in PLUMBER trade.
After initial screening, the plumbers will be provided high quality advanced Plumbing Training by International and National expert free of cost and will be registered for working in the GMDW&SB project for providing House Service Connection. The trained Plumbers will then be engaged by the appointed Contractors who will be entrusted with the work of providing service connections. If required, services of some of the plumbers may also be considered by GMDW&SB for providing O&M and other related works in due course of time.
Eligible candidates are requested to attend an initial screening on the following dates from 10 A.M. onwards at the address indicated. The candidates are requested to carry their educational qualifications certificates, work experience details, if any, for attending the screening.
