Eligibility Criteria for Guwahati Refinery Apprentice
Educational Qualification
- Trade Apprentice (Chemical/Boiler): Candidates must hold a 3-year full-time B.Sc degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry from a recognized university.
- Technician Apprentice (Chemical): 3-year Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, or Refinery and Petrochemical Engineering.
- Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation): 3-year Diploma in Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, or Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.
Age Limit (As of 31-01-2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
- Note: Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates will be provided as per Government of India guidelines.
Stipend and Duration
The engagement will be governed by the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend as per the Corporation’s guidelines and prevailing rules under the Apprenticeship Scheme.
