Health & Family Welfare Department Recruitment 2017- Superintendent post: Health & Family Welfare Department has announced a notification for the recruitment of Superintendent post. Application in standard form as published in Assam Gazette in Appendix – XI are invited from amongst the Faculty members serving in the rank of Professors in Medical Colleges of Assam under Health & Family Welfare (B) Department for recruitment to the vacant posts of Superintendent of Medical Colleges of the state of Assam under Health & Family Welfare (B) Department as per the provision of Rule 12 (2) of the Assam Medical Education Service Rules, 2008 as indicated below:

Health & Family Welfare Department Recruitment Vacancy Details
Name of the post: Superintendent
No. of post: 07 posts (UR-6, STH-1)
Scale of Pay: Rs.37,400/- 67,000/- P.M. with G.P. of Rs.10000/- plus other allowances as admissible under Rules.
Qualification and Experience:
1 . Post Graduate Medical Degree from recognized Institution as per MCI norms.
2. The candidate should be in the rank of Professor. He/She must have completed total 10 years of service after Post Graduate Degree.
3. Preference will be given to the candidate having any recognized degree/diploma in hospital administration.
Other conditions:
1. Appointment of reserved category candidates will be made as per existing reservation policy of Govt.
2. There shall be reservation for women candidate and physically Handicapped candidates as per existing rules.
