1. Public Prosecutor

• • No of posts: 26 Posts
  • Scale of Pay: Rs. 65,000-112,000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 18,500 + 30% Special Allowance
  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Law with 8 years of practice, primarily on the criminal side.

2. Additional Public Prosecutor

• • No of posts: 88 Posts
  • Scale of Pay: Rs. 30,000 – 1,10,000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 17,500 + 30% Special Allowance
  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Law with 7 years of practice, primarily on the criminal side.

3. Special Public Prosecutor

• • No of posts: 185 Posts
  • Scale of Pay: Rs. 30,000 – 1,10,000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 16,900 + 30% Special Allowance
  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Law with 7 years of practice, primarily on the criminal side.

Age (as on 01.01.2023): As per Government norms; relaxable for specified categories.

Domicile: Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam.
