Changes can be made online

UIDAI has provided the facility to update the mobile number linked to Aadhaar sitting at home. To update all the personal details like name, address and date of birth in the Aadhar card, it is necessary to register your mobile number on the Aadhar card. So that OTP can be sent to the same number during the update.

Know how to update mobile number in Aadhar card –
First of all you have to visit the official website of UIDAI, uidai.gov.in. After that enter the number you want to add. After that captcha has to be filled. Then click on Send OTP and enter the OTP sent to your phone number. Then you have to click on submit.
After scrolling down, you will see Online Aadhaar Services. Name, address, gender, email id, mobile number and many other things will appear in the list given here. Select the mobile number to update the phone number in Aadhaar. It will be necessary to select the What do you want to update option. Then a new page will open and you have to enter the captcha. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number. OTP has to be verified. Then click on Save and Proceed.
If you want to change the photo in your Aadhar card, then you have to apply online for the change before visiting the Aadhar center.
Know how to change photos
1 – First of all you have to visit the official website uidai.gov.in. Then you have to go to the Get Aadhaar section and download the Aadhaar Enrollment/Update Form.
2- Fill the form correctly and submit it to the Aadhaar Enrollment Center.
3- You will be re-captured fingerprints, retina scan and photograph at the enrollment center
4- You will have to pay a fee of Rs 50 for updating the information related to Aadhaar.
5- As soon as the application to update your photo is accepted, you will get a URN or update request number.
6- Through this number you can track your application online.
7- You will get a new Aadhar card with updated picture in about 90 days.
Change Name, Address or Phone Number in Aadhaar (Aadhaar Enrollment Online)
First of all open the official portal of UIDAI https://ask.uidai.gov.in/.
– Work to login with the help of mobile number and Captcha
Fill the details which are being asked.
After filling the complete details, now work on clicking on Send OTP.
OTP will be sent to your mobile.
-Write this OTP in the box given on the right hand side and click on submit OTP.
Now you go to the next page. Here the option of Aadhaar Services New Enrollment and Update Aadhaar will be seen. Here work by clicking on Update Aadhaar.
On the next screen, you will see options like name, aadhaar number, resident type and what you want to update.
Here you will find many mandatory options, which you have to fill. On the ‘what do you want to update’ section, select the mobile number.
On the next page you will be asked to type mobile number and Captcha. Fill all the information that is being asked.
Now click on Send OTP.
Now enter the OTP that has come on your mobile and verify it.
Now click on Save and Proceed.
Check all the details again for the last time.
If all the details are correct, then now you press the submit button.
Now you will get the success screen with the appointment ID.
Click on the Book Appointment option here and do the work of booking a slot at the Aadhaar Enrollment Center.
Aadhaar Enrollment Offline
-Aadhaar Enrollment or Update Center yourself.
Here you fill the Aadhaar Update Form.
Enter your current mobile phone number on the form.
The representative present at the Aadhaar Enrollment Center will register your request.
After registering your request, you will get an acknowledgment receipt from here. On this the URN update request number will be entered.
You have to pay 25 rupees for this service.
