How to Update Mobile Number in APDCL Website ? Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) has issued a notification requesting its consumers to update their personal details including their mobile number on its official website to serve better. Consumers who fail to register their mobile phone numbers. In the APDCL portal, and not providing your relevant details within 15th July, 2021, the electricity connection may be temporarily stopped.

In this article, we will discuss how to update your personal details in APDCL official website.

APDCL Online Data Update

As per APDCL notification, all consumers need to update their following personal details:

1. Name
2. Consumer No.
3. Mobile No.
4. Aadhaar No. (if available)
5. Email ID (if available)
6. Occupation

Consumers can update the above details online or offline.

Step 1: Using APDCL Official website .

Step 2: By visiting respective electrical sub-division office .

APDCL Mobile Number Update Online

Step 1: Visit APDCL website www.apdcl.org

Step 2: Click on the ‘Update Mobile Number’ tab. A new page will open.

Step 3: Enter your “Consumer Number” and click on the “Arrow” button. A new page will open.

Step 4: Now enter all the details: Mobile Number (Mandatory), Business (Mandatory), Email ID (Optional) and Aadhaar Number (Optional).
Step 5: At the end of step 3, click on “Submit” button.

Step 6: An ‘OTP’ will be sent to your mobile phone.
Step 7: Enter the ‘OTP’ in the correct place and click on ‘Verify’.

APDCL has also requested the consumers to provide their Aadhaar numbers and email IDs as well if they have them. If consumers opt for online registration, they should visit www.apdcl.org and go to the option ‘upload mobile number’ that displays consumers’ details. A consumer will have to type his/her consumer number to get details. Any consumer can give his/her mobile phone number, Aadhaar and email details there. There is an option for correction as well.

If a consumer wants to get registered offline he/she can do so by giving his/her details in writing in a plain sheet of paper to his respective electric subdivision.
