Indian Coast Guard Civilian Vacancy 2023 Educational Qualification

To apply for this recruitment, candidates must meet the following educational qualifications:

• Store Keeper Grade II: 12th Pass from a recognized Board or University.
• Engine Driver: Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent and a Certificate of competency as an Engine Driver from a recognized Govt. Institute or equivalent.
• Draughtsman: Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture and Ship construction from a recognized University or institution, or a certificate in Draughtsmanship in any of the above disciplines from an Industrial training institute.
• Civilian Motor Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade): (i) 10th standard pass. (ii) Must possess a valid driving license for both heavy and light motor vehicles. (iii) Knowledge of motor mechanism (able to rectify minor defects in vehicles).
• Forklift Operator: (i) Certificate in the respective trade from ITI or other recognized Institutions with not less than one year of experience, or 3 years’ experience in a trade for which no training is available in ITI or other recognized institutions. (ii) Should possess a heavy-duty vehicle driving license.
• Welder (Skilled): (i) Matriculation or equivalent. (ii) Successful completion of apprenticeship from a recognized / reputed workshop in the relevant trade under Apprentice Act 1961 or under any other recognized Apprenticeship Scheme, or completion of training course from an ITI recognized for this purpose with one year Trade experience or four years’ experience in the trade without training in the Industrial Training Institute or other recognized institutions. (iii) Should pass a trade entrance examination.
• Lascar: (i) Matriculation pass or its equivalent from recognized boards. (ii) Three years’ experience in service on a Boat.
• MTS (Peon): (i) Matriculation or equivalent pass. (ii) Two years’ experience as an office attendant.
• MTS (Sweeper): (i) Matriculation or equivalent pass. (ii) Two years’ experience in cleaning in any recognized firm.
• Unskilled Labourer: Matriculation pass or its equivalent from recognized boards or ITI from recognized institutes. Three years’ experience in the trade.
