Indian Navy Cadet Entry July 2026: The Indian Navy has released the official notification for the prestigious 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme. This recruitment drive invites applications from unmarried male and female candidates to join the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, for a four-year B.Tech degree course under the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme.

The 44 vacancies are distributed between the Executive and Technical branches. Candidates can apply for the branch based on their preference, though the final allocation is subject to service requirements.

Eligibility Criteria for Navy Cadet Entry 2026

Candidates must strictly fulfill the following educational and age requirements to be eligible for the SSB interview shortlisting.

1. Educational Qualification

• Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent qualification from any Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
• At least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).
• Mandatory: Candidates must have appeared for JEE (Main) – 2025 Exam (for B.E/B.Tech). Call letters for SSB will be issued based on the JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL).

2. Age Limit

• Candidates should be born between 02 January 2007 and 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive).
• Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates are eligible to apply.

Selection Process for Indian Navy B.Tech Entry

The selection procedure focuses on academic excellence and personality assessment.

1. Shortlisting of Applications: The Ministry of Defence (Navy) reserves the right to fix the cut-off for shortlisting applications for the SSB interview based on JEE (Main) 2025 All India Common Rank List (CRL).
2. SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for the SSB interview via email or SMS. The SSB interview consists of two stages (Stage I and Stage II) encompassing Intelligence Tests, Picture Perception, Group Testing, and Personal Interviews.
3. Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a strict medical examination.
4. Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared based on the SSB marks.
