Shortlisting of candidates would be based on aggregate percentage obtained in Physics, Mathematics and at least one of these subjects- Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science in the qualifying examination (10+2). Shortlisting will be carried out state wise in a ratio of four times the number of vacancies.
The cut off marks may vary from state to state as vacancies have been allocated in a state-wise manner. The shortlisted candidates would be issued call-up letter for written examination and PFT.
The details of the written examination to be conducted to select the eligible candidates for this recruitment is as mentioned below.
Medium of Exam: The question paper will be bilingual – Hindi and English.
Type of Question: The questions will be of objective type.
Syllabus: The question paper consists of four sections i.e. English, Science & Mathematics and General Knowledge. All questions will be 12th level questions.
Duration of Exam: The duration of the AA & SSR examination will be of one hour.
Maximum Marks: The maximum marks of the said exam will be 100 marks.
Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test is mandatory for selection. The details of PFT is as mentioned below.
Running: Male Candidates will have to complete 1.6 Km race within 6.30 minutes and Female Candidate1.6 Km race within 8 minutes
Squat and Push-ups: Male candidates will have to complete 20 squats (Uthak Baithak) and 12 push-ups and Female candidates will have to complete 15 squats (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Bent Knee Sit-ups.
Note: The written examination and physical fitness test will be conducted on the same day.
