Required Educational Qualification

To be eligible for IOCL Nursing admission, candidates must fulfill the following educational qualifications:

  • BSc Nursing: Only female candidates who have appeared in the SSUHS Common Entrance Exam 2023 will be eligible to submit their applications.
  • GNM: Candidates must have completed HSSLC (i.e., 10+2) with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) and English, with a minimum aggregate of 40% marks. The qualification should be from a Government recognized board under AHSEC/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent boards.

Stipend and Training Details

The selected candidates for BSc (Nursing) and GNM courses will receive a consolidated stipend per month during their training period. The stipend details are as follows:

BSc (Nursing):

  • 1st year: Rs. 2,800/-
  • 2nd year: Rs. 3,000/-
  • 3rd year: Rs. 3,200/-
  • 4th year: Rs. 3,400/-

GNM:

  • 1st year: Rs. 2,500/-
  • 2nd year: Rs. 2,700/-
  • 3rd year: Rs. 2,900/-

Additional Benefits/Opportunities

Apart from the stipend, the selected candidates will be provided with additional benefits and opportunities, including:

  • Free hostel accommodation.
  • Medical attention for self at AOD Hospital.
  • Uniforms will be provided to all selected candidates.
  • After completing the courses, the candidates will be engaged as working interns at AOD Hospital or any other hospitals of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. for a mandatory period of 1 (one) year. This period may be extendable by a maximum of 2 (two) years at the sole discretion of IOCL (AOD). The working interns will receive a consolidated stipend of Rs. 15,250/- per month for GNM and Rs. 16,250/- per month for BSc (N) at AOD Hospital. If placed at other hospitals of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, they will receive an additional amount of Rs. 1,000/- per month. However, accommodation facilities will not be provided during the internship period.
