The Information, Public Relations, Printing & Stationery Department (IPRD), which operates under the Government of Assam, is seeking applications for 10 vacant positions.

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) is currently accepting applications from qualified individuals interested in the positions of Junior Information & Public Relations Officer and Senior Information & Public Relations Officer. 👨‍⚕️1. Junior Information & Public Relations Officer

Number of Vacancies: 6

Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 12,700/-

Qualifications:

👉Applicants must hold a graduate degree in Science/Arts/Commerce from a recognized university. Professional/Technical Degrees will also be considered.
👉A degree or diploma in Journalism or Mass Communication from a UGC-recognized institute OR a minimum of three years’ experience in Journalism in a responsible role in a Newspaper/News/Public Relations Organization/Government Public Relations Department.
👉Proficiency in English is required.

Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 21 years old and not exceed 38 years of age as of January 1, 2023. The upper age limit can be relaxed as per the rules of the Government of Assam.

👨‍⚕️2. Senior Information & Public Relations Officer

Number of Vacancies: 4

Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 13,900/-

Qualifications:

👉Applicants must hold a graduate degree in Science/ Arts/ Commerce from a recognized university. Professional/ Technical Degrees will also be considered.
👉A degree or diploma in Journalism or Mass Communication from a UGC-recognized institute OR a minimum of five years’ experience in Journalism in a responsible role in a Newspaper/ News/ Public Relations Organization/ Government Public Relations Department.
