Assam Govt. ITI Admission Notice for the session July 2019- Online Form: Employment and Craftsmen Training, Assam has published Admission notice for ITI Course Admission session August 2019. Online application for Admission into the Govt. ONLINE applications for admission into the Govt. ITIs of Assam for NCVT / CoE trades, SCVT trades, SCVT under IMC (SCVT trades run by IMC in some ITIs ) under Craftsmen Training Scheme for the session commencing from July 2019 are invited from the intending candidates & who are Permanent Residents of Assam.

The passed out candidates for NCVT trades will be issued NCVT certificates & from SCVT trades will be issued SCVT certificates

Age limit: The age of the candidates for admission must not be below 14 years as on 1st July 2019.

The Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training, Assam under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of Assam have three wings namely.
> Craftsmen Training scheme
> Employment Service scheme
> Apprenticeship Training

This Directorate is providing training avenues through different Govt. ITIs of the state under Craftsman Training Scheme of Government of India, with the following objectives:

To provide semi skilled/skilled workers to industry by systematic training. To reduce unemployment among educated youths by equipping them with suitable skills for Industrial Employment & self Employment.

Director – General of Employment & Training under the directions of National Council of Vocational Training which is the apex body at Government of India level for coordinating development of Vocational Training in the country. The NCVT certificates are issued to the passed out trainees of NCVT trades. Similar to the National Council for Vocational Training at Central level, State Council for Vocational Training at the State level is responsible for coordinating an integrated development of Vocational Training. The SCVT certificates are issued to the passed out trainees of SCVT trades.

The National Informatics Centre (NIC), an organization of Government of India under Union Ministry of Information Communication & Technology for providing ICT based solutions to Government and Semi-Government organizations, has been entrusted to accomplish the task of Software development, launching of Web based Online off campus counseling for admissions to all the courses being running in all the Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in the State.
