Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Exam Postponed: Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) has been postponed for selection test (JNVST) 2021 for admission in the sixth grade. This entrance exam was scheduled to be held after 1 month on 16 May. The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has issued a notice on the official website navodaya.gov.in. The notice also states that students will be notified of the new examination dates 15 days in advance.

Let us tell you that the JNVST 2021 exam was to be held on May 16 in all states and union territories across the country. However this test is not conducted in Mizoram, Meghalaya and Nagaland.

Talking about exam pattern, JNVST 2021 selection test is done for 2 hours. The exam runs from 11:30 am to 01:30 pm. It consists of 3 sections which includes objective type question. The Mental Ability Test is 50 marks for 40 questions, the Arithmetic Test has 25 marks for 20 questions, the Language Test has 25 marks for 20 questions. In this way, the paper consists of 80 questions for 100 marks.

• Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

All the students will have bring in their admit card at the exam centre. Candidates will have to mandatorily wear face masks and carry sanitizers and water bottles along with the admit card and other stationaries to the exam center.

Important Instructions For JNVST 2020 – 2021

Here are a few instructions that the candidates should keep in mind about the selection test. Please refer to the pointers listed below. It is mandatory that the candidates carry their admit cards on the day of the exam.

  • Candidates should reach the exam center as per the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall/ room after 30 minutes of the commencement of the selection test.
  • Candidates should read the instructions printed on the test booklet.
  • Students should ensure that the test booklet distributed to them is in the language they had opted for.
  • The candidate should not spend too much of time on a particular question.
  • Securing qualifying marks in each of the three sections is essential.
  • The total time would be two hours without any break.
