Eligibility Criteria for KGBV Nagaon Recruitment
Candidates must fulfill the following educational and age criteria to apply for these posts.
Educational Qualification
- Master Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree is mandatory.
- TET Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates with Higher Secondary TET qualification.
- Note: Non-TET candidates with a Master’s Degree and B.Ed. can apply. However, selected Non-TET candidates must qualify for Higher Secondary TET within 3 consecutive TET examinations.
Medium of Instruction
- Candidates must be from Assamese Medium background (Except for the Part-Time English Teacher post).

- The candidate must be below 45 years of age.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of Assam rules.
Salary Structure
The remuneration is fixed and varies based on TET qualification.
- For TET Qualified Candidates: Rs. 22,000/- per month.
- For Non-TET Candidates: Rs. 20,000/- per month.
- Part Time Assistant Teacher: Rs. 18,000/- per month.
Important Note: Full-Time Assistant Teachers are required to stay within the school-cum-hostel campus on all working days and holidays (except during vacations).
