Scale of Pay:

Selected candidates for the Insurance Medical Officer (IMO) position will receive a scale of pay ranging from Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- along with a Grade Pay of Rs. 12,700/-.

Educational Qualification:

To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a minimum qualification of MBBS and must be registered under the Assam Medical Council, 1960.

Age Criteria:

As of 1st January 2023, candidates applying for the Insurance Medical Officer (IMO) position should meet the following age criteria:

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 38 years

Age Relaxation:

• For SC/ST candidates: Up to 43 years (5 years relaxation)
• For OBC/MOBC candidates: Up to 41 years (3 years relaxation)
• For Persons with benchmark disability (PwBD): Up to 48 years (10 years relaxation), irrespective of their category (SC/ST/OBC/UR).
