Eligibility Criteria for LGBRIMH Recruitment
Candidates must fulfill the specific educational and experience requirements mandated by the institute.
1. Medical Faculty (Psychiatry)
- Professor: MBBS + Post Graduate degree (MD/DNB) in Psychiatry. Minimum 12 years of standing in the profession with 4 years as Associate Professor.
- Associate Professor: MBBS + PG Degree. Minimum 5 years teaching experience, out of which 2 years as Assistant Professor.
- Assistant Professor: MBBS + PG Degree. 1 year as Senior Resident in a recognized medical college.
2. Clinical Psychology & PSW Faculty
- Associate Professor: Master’s Degree (55%) + M.Phil + Ph.D. in the concerned discipline. Minimum 5 years teaching/research experience (2 years as Assistant Professor).
- Assistant Professor: Master’s Degree (55%) + M.Phil + Ph.D. in the concerned discipline. 1 year post-M.Phil experience.
3. Nursing Faculty
- Assistant Professor (Psychiatric Nursing): M.Sc. in Psychiatric Nursing with 3 years teaching experience. Ph.D. is desirable.
- Nursing Tutor: Master’s Degree in Psychiatric Nursing (55%). Registered Nurse/Midwife. Desirable: 2 years of teaching/research experience.
4. Clinical Psychologist
- Qualification: M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from an RCI-recognized institution with a valid CRR (Central Rehabilitation Register) number.
