Position: Chief Risk Manager (On Contract)

Qualification Requirements:
- Essential: Graduate/Postgraduate in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Business, or Masters in Management (MBA/PGDI) or CA/CS.
- Desirable: Certification in Risk Management from a reputed institute.
Experience Requirements:
- Essential:
- Minimum 20 years of experience in Banking, Financial Sector, and Insurance (BFSI).
- At least 5 years in senior management level, specializing in Risk Management (Credit Risk and Market Risk) in a regulated lending entity.
- Desirable:
- Experience as a Chief Risk Officer or Head of Risk Management in a regulated lending entity, preferably a Commercial Bank.
- Strong understanding of market risk, liquidity risk, and operational risk management.
- Experience in appraisal and monitoring of high-value projects.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive Risk Management Policies in line with RBI regulations and BASEL III norms.
- Frame and review policies related to Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Fraud Risk, Market Risk, and Asset Liability Management.
- Assist in developing the Business Continuity Planning framework of the bank.
- Benchmark NABARD’s risk appraisal processes against best practices from peer institutions.
- Ensure continuous improvement of risk management practices within the bank.
- Quantify and mitigate risks using tools like Rating Models, EWS Systems, Default Forecasting, Collateral Management, and more.
- Prepare Credit Reports and assess high-value credit proposals.
- Support the ongoing monitoring of risk mitigation activities and any other related tasks as assigned.
