The National Ayush Mission, launched in September 2014, aims to bridge the gap in healthcare services by promoting Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy (AYUSH) practices across the nation. Its multifaceted objectives include providing cost-effective AYUSH services, integrating AYUSH facilities into primary, secondary, and tertiary healthcare systems, upgrading state pharmacies and drug testing facilities, promoting medicinal plant cultivation, and ensuring the quality control of AYUSH drugs and medicinal plants.
Opportunity: Recruitment of Consultants
As part of its expansion and outreach efforts, the National Ayush Mission Assam is inviting applications for the position of Consultant on a contractual basis.

Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Ayurveda (BAMS), Unani (BUMS), Homeopathy (BHMS), Siddha (BSMS), or Naturopathy (BYNS) from a recognized institute or university.
- Postgraduate qualification in an AYUSH stream is desirable.
Selection Process:
A walk-in-interview is scheduled to be held on 26th February 2024 at the Office of National Ayush Mission, Assam. The venue address is Elysian Palace, Near Dispur Law College, Last Gate Dispur, Guwahati-5.
