National Hospitality Teacher Eligibility Test (NHTET) October 2018, Apply Online: National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMT) has issued Admission Entrance notification for National Hospitality Teacher Eligibility Test (NHTET) October 2018. National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMT) under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India calling online application for National Hospitality Teacher Eligibility Test (NHTET) October 2018 for the posts of Assistant Lecturer and Teaching Associates in all the 65 Institutes of Hotel Management (IHM) functioning under the umbrella of the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMT), either the Institute is sponsored by Central Government, State Government, PSU or by Private, since it made the part of affiliation regulation.
NHTET is now compulsory to become eligible to apply for the direct recruitment of Assistant Lecturer and Teaching Associates in all 65 IHMs across India.
NHTET Admission Exam Details
Name of examination: National Hospitality Teacher Eligibility Test (NHTET) October 2018
Date of NHTET: 6th October 2018 in two sittings from 9.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
Educational Qualification for National Hospitality Teacher Eligibility Test :
Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration/ Hotel Management after 10+2 from a recognized University with at least 60% marks and at least 2 years Hospitality Industry Experience after obtaining Degree.
OR
Full time Master’s Degree in Hospitality Administration/ Hotel Management after Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration/ Hotel Management from a recognized University with at least 60% marks either in Bachelor or Master’s Degree.
Candidates appearing in the final semester/ final year exam of the master’s degree in Hotel/ Hospitality Management/ Administration and have passed all subjects of previous year/ semester, and also having Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration/ Hotel Management from a recognized University with at least 60% marks, can also apply.
Age limit National Hospitality Teacher Eligibility Test :
30 years as on 01/12/2018. Relaxation of age by 5 years for those belong to SC/ST/PD categories, 3 years for those belong to OBC categories is applicable as per rules.
Application Fee National Hospitality Teacher Eligibility Test :
Rs. 800/- for General/OBC categories(male candidates only) and Rs. 400/- for all female candidates as well as SC/ST/PD categories.
