1. Research Associate- I

Project funded by: National Mission on Himalayan Studies (Ministry of Environment and Forest).
Qualification:
a) Ph.D in Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical Sciences / Biotechnology with 55% marks in Post Graduation of respective field
-OR-
M.Pharm / M.S.(Pharmacology) / MVSc or equivalent degree with 55% marks with three years of research experience
b) Three publications in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal as first author.
Emoluments : Rs. 36,000/-
Age Limit : 35 Yrs
2. Research Associate- I

Project funded by: Department of Biotechnology (Ministry of Science and Technology)
Qualification:
a) Ph.D in Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical Sciences / Biotechnology with 55% marks in Post Graduation of respective field
-OR-
M.Pharm / M.S.(Pharmacology) / MVSc or equivalent degree with 55% marks with three years of research experience
b) Three publications in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal as first author.

3. Senior Research Fellow
No. of post: 01
Project funded by: Department of Biotechnology (Ministry of Science and Technology)
Qualification:
a) M.Pharm / M.S.(Pharmacology) / MVSc
-OR-
MSc (Life Sciences) or equivalent degree with 55% marks with NET qualification.
b) Two years research experience
c) One publication in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal
Emoluments : Rs. 28,000/-
Age Limit : 32 Yrs
Selection Process : The process of selection may include presentation / seminar / test / interview or as to be decided by the Selection Committee.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
➥ SRFs and Research Associates are not entitled to DA and CCA.
➥ HRA is eligible to SRF and RAs as per central Govt. norms applicable in the city/location where they are working . The fellowship amount will be taken as the basis for calculating the HRA.
➥ SRFs and RAs are not entitled to any medical benefits.
➥ SRFs and RAs are not entitled to any Bonus and Leave travel Concession benefits.
➥ SRFs and RAs are not entitled to any retirement benefits.
➥ SRFs and RAs shall be governed by the disciplinary regulations of the host Institute where he/she is working
➥ The Director reserves the right to withdraw any or all posts so advertised at any time without assigning any reason.
➥ Application may be downloaded from the Institute website : www.niperguwahati.ac.in
➥ No interim enquiries/correspondence/communication will be entertained.
➥ No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in-interview.
➥ The process of selection may include presentation / seminar / test / interview or as to be decided by the Selection Committee.
➥ Age, Qualification, Experience etc. will be decided on the closing date of application.
➥ Downloaded application should be filled and brought for walk in interview along with 1 (one) self attested copies of certificates pertaining to Age, Educational Qualification and Experience etc.
