Eligibility Criteria for NCERT Faculty Posts

1. Professor
- Qualification: An eminent scholar with a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
- Publications: Minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- Research Score: A total research score of at least 120.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience at the University/National level.
2. Associate Professor
- Qualification: Ph.D. Degree in concerned/allied discipline with a Master’s Degree (minimum 55% marks).
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of teaching or research experience in a position equivalent to Assistant Professor.
- Publications: Minimum of 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals with a research score of 75.
3. Assistant Professor
- Qualification: Master’s degree with 55% marks.
- Requirements: Must have cleared NET (UGC/CSIR) or SLET/SET.
- Exemption: Candidates with a Ph.D. obtained under the 2009 or 2016 regulations are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
Eligibility for Library Positions
Deputy Librarian
- Education: Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science with 55% marks and a Ph.D. in the same field.
- Experience: 8 years of experience as an Assistant University Librarian or College Librarian.

Assistant Librarian
- Education: Master’s Degree in Library Science with 55% marks.
