NEET Application Form 2026

Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2026

Candidates must satisfy the eligibility requirements set by the National Testing Agency (NTA) before applying for the NEET exam.

Age Limit

Educational Qualification

  • Must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

  • Appearing Candidates: Students appearing for their Class 12 exams in 2026 are also fully eligible to apply.

NEET Merit List And Qualifying Criteria

The NTA will prepare the Merit List/All India Rank (AIR) as per qualifying criteria and relevant regulations of NMC, DGHS, MCC, and the Ministry of AYUSH.

General / General-EWS: Minimum of 50th percentile marks.

SC / ST / OBC: Minimum of 40th percentile marks.

PwD Candidates: 45th percentile for UR/EWS and 40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC-NCL.

* The percentile is determined based on the highest marks secured in the All India common merit list.
