NHM Assam Compulsory 1 Year Rural Posting For MBBS Doctors Counselling
It is for the information to all concerned MBBS doctors who have applied for compulsory one year rural service under NHM, Assam in response to this office advertisement no. NHM-31013/1/2018-HRD- NHM/30266 did. 11/02/2020 that the provisional merit list of candidates is published in the NHM, Assam website (https://nhm.assam.gov.in).

A counselling session for selection of place of posting of the MBBS doctors will be held on 04/03/2020 from 10.00 AM onwards at the Auditorium Hall of Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra, Panjabari, Guwahati.
Procedure of NHM Assam Counselling- Compulsory 1 Year Rural Posting For MBBS Doctors
The following procedure will be adopted for selection of place of posting:
- During counselling, available vacant positions and allotted postings will be displayed on a screen continuously.
- During the counselling, candidates will be called as per merit fist and he/she will have to opt the place of posting from the list and on the spot selection letter will be handed over to the candidate.
- If any candidate can not attend in the counselling due to unavoidable reasons, in that case he/she may authorize any other person in writing along with relevant documents and the decision/selection of place of posting of the authorized person will be treated as decision/selection of the candidate. (Sample authorization letter will be available in the NHM, Assam website : https:/inhm.assam.gov.in)
- Once a candidate selects and accepts a place of posting, he/she will not be allowed to alter the place of posting.
The final merit list will be published in the website 1 (one) day prior to the date of counseling along with the list of places of posting. Candidates are advised to check the website accordingly.
NHM Assam Counselling Documents to carry:
The candidates are requested to bring all original certificates including Registration Certificate of “Assam Medical Council’ along with a set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant testimonials.
