NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for 361 Posts!

A significant opportunity has been announced for aspiring engineers and technicians. NHPC Limited, a premier hydropower company in India, has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 361 Apprentice posts for its Corporate Office in Faridabad and various other locations. This drive is open for ITI certificate holders, Diploma holders, and Engineering Graduates.

NHPC Apprentice Vacancy Details and Stipend

The 361 vacancies are distributed across three categories with an attractive monthly stipend.

1. Graduate Apprentice

• Number of Posts: 129
• Monthly Stipend: ₹15,000/-

2. Diploma Apprentice

• Number of Posts: 76
• Monthly Stipend: ₹13,500/-

3. ITI Trade Apprentice

• Number of Posts: 156
• Monthly Stipend: ₹12,000/-

Eligibility Criteria for NHPC Apprentice

Candidates must meet the following eligibility conditions before applying.

Age Limit

• The applicant’s age must be between 18 and 30 years.
• Age relaxation for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) will be applicable as per Government of India guidelines.

Educational Qualification

How to Apply for NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2025?

The application process is a mandatory two-step procedure. Candidates must complete both steps for their application to be considered valid.

Step 1: Registration on NATS/NAPS Portal

This is the first and most crucial step. Candidates must register themselves on the appropriate government apprenticeship portal.

• For ITI Trades: Register on the NAPS portal at https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
• For Graduate/Diploma Trades: Register on the NATS portal at https://nats.education.gov.in

After registering, complete your profile, upload all required documents, and secure your registration/enrolment number.

Step 2: Application on the NHPC Website

Once you have your NAPS/NATS registration number, proceed to the NHPC website.

1. Go to the official NHPC website: www.nhpcindia.com.
2. Navigate to the “Career” section.
3. Find the link for “Engagement of Apprentice” and click on “Apply Now”.
4. Fill out the NHPC application form with all your details and the NAPS/NATS registration number.
5. Upload the required documents as listed below.
6. Submit the final application form and take a printout for your records.

Required Documents for Online Application

• A scanned copy of the completed Apprenticeship Registration Form from the NATS/NAPS portal.
• Scanned copies of all educational certificates and mark sheets.
• Proof of Age (Matriculation/10th Class Certificate).
• Relevant Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL) in the prescribed format, if applicable.
• A recent passport-sized photograph and signature.
