PHED, Assam Recruitment Vacancy Details
1. Project Engineer (State Project Management Unit)
No of posts: 3
Pay: Rs. 60,000 to 80,000 per month (Inclusive of all Incentive)
Educational Qualification:
Graduate in Civil engineering from any recognized institute
Minimum 7 years of relevant post qualification experience in design, supervision, project management in the water supply sector/waste water (Sewerage) Schemes.
Experience of working in sanitation sector will be an added advantage
Experience of working in community based large multi village water supply and Sanitation Sector with external agencies like World Bank etc., is desirable
The applicant must be computer literate and has to be well conversed with MS-Office package.
Experience in project management software packages like primavera, MS-project will be added advantage
Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language
2. Project Engineer (District Project Management Unit)
No of posts: 1
Pay: Rs. 27500 (Inclusive of all Incentive)
Educational Qualification:
Graduate in Civil engineering from any recognized institute
Minimum 1 years of relevant post qualification experience preferably in design, supervision, project management in any infrastructure sector
Experience of working in water supply sector will be an additional qualification
Experience in project management software packages like primavera, MS-project will be added advantage
Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.
3. Sanitation Specialist
No of posts: 1
Pay: Rs. 5.04 lakh per annum (Inclusive of all Incentive)
Educational Qualification:
Master degree in engineering, social science, environmental science, water and sanitation, or a related field;
3 years of professional development experience in the WASH sector, and significant project management experience;
Experience in implementing, designing, or coordinating WASH in rural community ;
Familiarity with community-based sanitation programs, and with a diversity of latrine designs for rural communities;
Knowledge of SLWM technology options and experience in implementing SLWM activities in rural areas
Exceptional degree of integrity, judgment and tact in handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material.
Fluency in English, Hindi and local language is necessary and desirable;
Willing to travel extensively in rural areas
4. Finance Specialist
No of posts: 1
Pay: Rs. 5.04 lakh per annum (Inclusive of all Incentive)
Educational Qualification:
MCOM/MBA(Finance)/CA/ICWA or equivalent
Minimum 3 year of relevant working experience in budgeting, Accounting, financial management for large scale programmes/projects etc
Experience of working in Government programmes or externally aided projects preferred.
Must be computer literate, knowledge of tally software will be an added advantage
Exceptional degree of integrity, judgment and tact in handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material.
Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.
5. Community and Communication Development Specialist
No of posts: 1
Pay: Rs. 5.04 lakh per annum (Inclusive of all Incentive)
Educational Qualification:
Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Social Science/ Social welfare/ Rural Development.
3 years of relevant experience with multi sectoral development agencies// NGOs / Consultants / Government Organizations in participatory development approaches.
Prior exposure to development communications essential.
Understanding of decentralization principles and community engagement process.
Understanding of sector institutions at district, block and village levels.
Exceptional degree of integrity, judgment and tact in handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material.
Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.
6. LDA – Accounts
No of posts: 1
Pay: Rs. 25,000 per month (Inclusive of all incentives)
Educational Qualification:
Graduate in Commerce from a recognized Institute
Minimum 2 years of relevant post qualification experience in budgeting, financial management, accounts and audit
Candidates working in similar capacity in Government projects/PSU/Externally aided projects will be given preference
Experience of working with Tally software.
Sound knowledge of Government Accounting, Income Tax, VAT and other Taxation matters.
Exceptional degree of integrity, judgment and tact in handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material.
Must be computer literate and should have knowledge MSOffice, Internet, e-mail etc.
Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language
7. MIS Assistant
No of posts: 1 (DPMU-Jorhat)
Pay: Rs. 16,000 per month inclusive of all incentives
Educational Qualification:
Graduate in any stream from recognized institute
Minimum 1 year of relevant post qualification experience in HH survey, data entry, MIS applications, data management etc
The applicant has to be well conversed with MS-office preferably in MS-excel and MS-access, MS-word, MS-power point etc. Diploma in Computer application and diploma in computer typing is desirable
Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.
8. Office Assistant
No of posts: 3 (District Project Management Unit-Hailakandi, Jorhat & Morigaon)
Pay: Rs. 16,000 per month inclusive of all incentives
Educational Qualification:
Graduate in any stream from recognized institute
Minimum 1 year of relevant post qualification experience in office administration/file management/office correspondence etc
Must be computer literate and should have diploma in computer application and type writing
Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.
