• Under the PM Awas Yojana, it has been announced to construct 816 pucca houses in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow district, 624 in Ghaziabad, 396 in Goda, 48 in Balram district, 48 in Barabanki district.
• 41 lakh houses have been built for the weak and poor people through PM Awas Yojana . The construction work of 70 lakh houses is going on.
• The work of building all these houses is being done jointly by both the Central Government and the State Government. Which will prove to be very beneficial for all the poor class people.

The main objective of this scheme is that the poor and weak and whose economic condition is not good. Those families have to be promoted. The families whose economic condition is not good through Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana live in slums and on the streets. And cannot take their home.

For such families, the government has set a target of constructing four crore pucca houses. The main objective of this scheme is to encourage weak and poor families and improve their economic condition in the coming future and they can spend their life without any difficulty.

Benefits and features of PM Awas Yojana 2023

• Phase one of PM Kisan Awas Yojana will be started soon for the beneficiaries.
• The citizen who earns 18 lakh rupees annually. They will be able to get the benefit of 3% Bihar subsidy on loans up to 12 lakhs through government banks .
• Under this scheme, the target is to build 4 crore houses for the people in a period of 7 years till 2023.
• Applicants for housing scheme can apply online through their mobile or computer sitting at home.
• The government will provide pucca houses to the economically weaker section and middle income group  people . To whom loan up to 6 lakhs will be given according to the time period of up to 20 years . And at the same time, subsidy of up to 6.5 %  i.e. up to 2.5 lakh will be provided on the loan .

Eligibility for application in PM Awas Yojana

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of India.
• Under this scheme, there should be an applicant belonging to BPL category and low income group .
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• The applicant should have original documents or their photocopies.
• The person applying for this scheme should not already have a house.
• For EWS and LIG family groups, there should be a female head.
• If any member of the poor family is already employed, then he cannot apply for this scheme.
• Only those who do not take advantage of any other scheme can apply for this scheme.

Step 1: Visit the official website of PMAY https://pmaymis.gov.in/ .

Step 2: On the main page, click on the ‘ Citizen Assessment ‘ option and select ‘ Online Application ‘ from the drop-down menu. You will see four options. Choose the option that applies to you.

 

 

 

 

Step 3: Select the ‘ In Situ Slum Redevelopment (ISSR) ‘ option to apply online for PMAY 2023 . On the next page you will be asked for Aadhaar number and name. Fill in the details and click on ‘ Check ‘ to verify your Aadhaar details .
