Under Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana 2023 , the work of converting diesel petrol pumps of farmers into solar power pumps has been started. The scheme was announced by former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana was startedto provide good means of irrigation to the farmersAn arrangement of Rs 34,422 crore has been made by the government for the scheme. 60 percent will be provided to the candidate farmers by the central government. Along with this, 30 percent loan will have to be given to the bank and 10 percent to the farmers.
