Minimum Qualification : Bachelors Degree in Commerce from a recognized University with a work experience of at least three years in a relevant field

Desirable Qualification : A Diploma/certificate of minimum of 6 months duration in computer applications/ experience of handling accounting software such as Tally, ERP.

2. Junior Assistant

No. of posts : 2

Pay Scale : Rs. 14000-49000 + G.P. Rs. 6200

Minimum Qualification : Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a recognized University

Desirable Qualification : Ability to work with computer as evidenced by appropriate Diploma of a minimum of Six months duration from any recognized University or Institution.

3. Accounts Assistant

No. of posts : 1

Pay Scale : Rs. 14000-49000 + G.P. Rs. 6200

Minimum Qualification : Bachelors Degree in Commerce from a recognized University

Desirable Qualification : Ability to work with computer as evidenced by appropriate Diploma of a minimum of Six months duration from any recognized University or Institution. Having good knowledge in accounting software, E-filing and GST

4. Peon

No. of posts : 6

Pay Scale : Rs. 12000-Rs. 37500 + G.P. Rs.4400

Minimum Qualification : HSLC passed from a recognized School/institution

Desirable Qualification : Ability to handle electronic equipment including computer, photocopier and management of electronic system of office communications within and outside the university.

Age Limit for All Positions

For the position of Accountant, the desirable age range is between 35 and 45 years. For the remaining positions, candidates must be at least 18 years old and not exceed 40 years of age as of January 1, 2023. However, there are certain relaxations in age limits for specific categories. SC/ST candidates are granted a relaxation of 5 years, OBC/MOBC candidates are granted a relaxation of 3 years, Ex-Servicemen have a relaxation of 2 years, and PWD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates have a relaxation of 10 years.

To determine the candidate’s age, the calculation will be based on the School/Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card or Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council.

Application Fees:

Applicants are required to submit a non-refundable bank draft as the application fee. The fee amount is Rs. 1000 for candidates belonging to the UR (Unreserved) and OBC/MOBC categories. For candidates belonging to other reserved categories, the fee amount is Rs. 700. The bank draft should be made in favor of Rabindranath Tagore University and payable at the State Bank of India, Hojai Branch, Hojai.

Please note that the bank draft should be drawn only on or after the date of publication of the advertisement and before the last date of application submission. It is important to ensure that the bank draft is in the specified format and made within the given timeframe. Any application fee submitted in any other form will not be accepted.
