Position: Assistant Professor

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our faculty team in the following subjects:

1. Bengali: 1 vacancy

Eligibility Criteria

To ensure that our candidates meet the necessary requirements, we have outlined the eligibility criteria based on the official guidelines. It’s important that you fulfill these criteria before applying:

• Age Limit: As of January 1, 2023, candidates must not exceed the age of 38. However, there is a relaxation of 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, 5 years for ST/SC candidates, and 10 years for PwD candidates.
• Educational Qualifications: As per the DHE letter No. DHE/CE/Misc/49/2021/Pt/5 dated February 9, 2022, candidates need to meet the educational qualifications specified. The selection criteria align with the Assam Government’s OM No. AHE.239/2021/68 dated January 24, 2022.
• NET/SLET/SET: Having a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC’s Regulation from 2009 will exempt candidates from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET as mandatory eligibility conditions. Candidates must possess a good academic record, with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale) at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject. A relaxation of 5% marks can be availed by SC/ST/PWD candidates.

• Additional Qualifications: Eligibility factors like M.Phil./Ph.D., Seminar Papers, and Publications can be acquired and submitted on the date of the interview and not beyond.
