Job Description: Accountant

• Location: Hotel D’Agneedee, Corporate Office, 2nd Floor, Tarun Nagar, Guwahati, Assam
• Position Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Salary: Competitive, with salary account and other benefits, including medical cover for self and family.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and ledger management.
• Handle payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursement.
• Maintain accurate financial records using Tally ERP software for transactions, reconciliations, and tax filings.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets as required by management.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Conduct periodic audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Assist in preparing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Coordinate with banks for various financial transactions and related documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of Tally ERP software and accounting principles.
• Experience in payroll management.
• Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience is preferred.
