Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply?

1. Educational Qualification

As of the date of notification, the candidate must have passed 10th Standard (Matriculation) from a recognized Board of the state/UT falling under the regional jurisdiction of the recruiting office.
Note: Candidates with higher qualifications (Graduates and above) are also eligible to apply, but the basic requirement remains 10th pass.

2. Age Limit (As of 01-01-2026)

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 25 Years
  • Candidates must have been born between 02 January 2001 and 01 January 2008 (both days inclusive).

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 Years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
  • PwBD: Up to 15 Years (depending on category)
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per existing Government of India rules.

Phase II: Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

Shortlisted candidates from the online exam will undergo LPT. This test is conducted in the official/local language of the state for which the candidate has applied. It is qualifying in nature; candidates who fail to clear the LPT will not be considered for the final selection.
