Recruitment for Information of Public Relations, assam invited various posts

Applications are invited from the citizens of India in standard form as published in Assam Gazette part-IX for filling up of the following vacant posts in the different offices under the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Assam, Dispur, Guwahati-6 in the pay Band and Grade Pay as shown against each post, plus other allowances as admissible under the existing Rules.

No. of post: 03 nos. (MOBC/OBC-1, UR-2)

Scale of pay: Pay Band Rs. 5200- 20,200/- p.m. + Grade Pay Rs. 3300/- p.m.

Educational Qualification: – The minimum educational qualification is Graduate in Arts, Science or Commerce from any recognized university.

Other essential Qualification : – The Candidate must be capable of translating any matter from both Assamese into English and English to Assamese and must have good command over Assamese and English languages and adequate knowledge of computer application and DTP.

Scale of pay: Pay Band Rs. 5200- 20,200/- p.m. + Grade Pay Rs. 3300/- p.m.

Educational Qualification: –The minimum educational qualification is Bachelor degree in Library science or Graduate in any discipline with P G diploma in Library Science from a recognized University.

Other Qualification: – Adequate knowledge of latest software packages of computer application in Library Management, DTP and Internet.

Scale of pay:  Pay Band Rs. 5200- 20,200/- p.m. + Grade Pay Rs. 2200/- p.m.

Educational Qualification: – The minimum educational qualification is H.S.L.C passed with Diploma in English & Assamese Type writing, Computer applications.

No. of Post: 08 nos.  ((OBC/MOBC-1, STP-1, PWD-1, UR-5)

Scale of pay: Pay Band Rs. 5200-20,200/- p.m. + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- p.m.

Educational Qualification: – The minimum educational qualification is H.S. passed with Diploma in English & Assamese Type writing, Computer applications.

(i) Application along with 2 (two) recent passport size photographs certificates of Educational Qualification, Registration of employment exchange etc. self attested copies must reach the undersigned on or before 15/02/2016.

(ii) Candidates will have to superscribe the name of post applied for on the. top of the sealed envelope carrying the Application Form.

(iii) A self addressed envelope (size 22 X 10 cm) affixing postal stamp of Rs. 5/- only will be submitted.

(iv) The applicant will have to appear in all the test/ Interview at their own expenses.

(v) The incomplete application will be rejected without giving any information to the candidate.

(vi) The candidate(s) should produce certificate of good character from the principal academic officer of the University, College, School or educational institution in which he/she studied last, and two respectedable persons, who are well acquainted with but not related to the candidate.

(vii) Canvassing directly or indirectly will be treated as disqualification of candidature.

(viii)       The candidates who are serving in Govt. Departments should apply through proper channel.

(ix)         The selected candidates will submit an undertaking to appointment authority that they will abide by the New pension Rules of Govt, issued vide Finance Deptt. Letter No.BW.3/03/pt.!ll/A dt. 25.01.2005.

x) The application should be submitted directly or by post to the office of the Director of Information and Public Relations, Assam, Dispur, Last Gate, Guwahati-6.

xi) Reservation of women will be included as per norms.
