Red, Orange, Green Zone Assam and Indian Other States districts for coronavirus lockdown: Prior to the end of the extended lockdown, the Union Ministry of Health had listed 130 districts in the Red Zone, 264 in the Orange Zone and 311 in the Green Zone on the basis of the double-digit rate of Covid-19. Beginning May 4, all districts of India will be classified as Red, Orange and Green regions as the novel enters a new phase of lockdown in the fight against the coronavirus epidemic. Red, orange and green – thus classifying districts across the country in the next few weeks as the country enters another phase of the fight against the novel coronavirus epidemic. With the nationwide lockdown extending to May 17, the government has decided to move to a district-wise zoning system.

The 333 districts of India will be broadly divided into red zones, orange zones and green zones. The zone classification will determine the type of restrictions that were placed on the movement of people and the supply of goods in a district.

The classification of this zone is dynamic and will be revised every week. The story will be updated to reflect the latest classification of districts according to the central government. The current list is for the week following May 4th.
