RIPANS Admission Notice 2017 for B. Pharm, B. Sc Nursing, Laboratory Technician & Other courses

Regional Institute of Paramedical and Nursing Sciences, (RIPANS), Aizawl

Applications are invited in plain paper from the candidates intending to undergo 4 (Four) years Degree in following courses session 2017-18 at Regional Institute of Paramedical and Nursing Sciences, (RIPANS) Aizawl, against reserve seats allotted to the Govt. of Assam.

1. B. Pharm – 3 seats

2 B. Sc (N) Nursing – 3 seats

3. B. Sc – (MLT) Medical Laboratory Technician – 3 seats

4. Bachelor’s in Radiography & Imaging Technology (BRIT) – 3 seats

5. Bachelor’s in Optometry (B. Optom.) – 3 seats

Eligibility Criteria:

1. The minimum qualification for admission as per the A.I.C.T.E. Admission Regulation specified that Admission in the Degree in Pharmacy shall be 10+2 passed in Science stream Exam with a minimum aggregate of 50% of marks in PCB or PCM or passed in Diploma in Pharmacy with a minimum aggregate of 50%. This is relaxable to 5% (i.e. 45%) for SC/ST/OBC category candidates.

2. The entry level of B. Sc (N), B. Sc -MLT, Bachelor’s in Radiography & Imaging Technology (BRIT) & Bachelor’s in Optometry (B. Optom.) shall be 10+2 (Sc.) / P.U. (Sc.) in PCB and English with a minimum aggregate of 50%. This is relaxable to 5% (i.e. 45%) for SC/ ST/OBC category candidates.

3. For B. Sc -MLT PCB/PCM combination can both be considered at the entry level after class XII through PCB combination is preferred. English is compulsory with a minimum of  50%. This is relaxable to 5% (i.e. 45%) for SC/ST/OBC. In case of B. Sc – MLT eligible candidates who have passed 10+2 MLT form recognized by Mizoram University / AICTE with atleast 50% marks shall also be admitted if nominated by their respective States. Relaxation of marks by 5% for those candidates for SC/ST/OBC is admissible.

4. The age of the candidate must be of age group between 17 years to 24 years as on 31st December, 2017 and upper age limit is relaxable by 3 (Three) years for ST/SC/OBC candidates.

5. The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.

5. Permanent address.

6. Marks obtain and year of passing of HS (+2) examination.

7. Category like SC/ST/OBC

9. Phone number.

10. Percentage (%) of marks in PCB or PCM.

Following information must be furnished along with the application.

1. Name of the candidate (in block letters).

2. Father’s name.

3. Date of Birth.

4. Age as on 31.12.2017.

5. Permanent address.

6. Marks obtain and year of passing of HS (+2) examination.

7. Category like SC/ST/OBC

8. Address for communication.

9. Phone number.

10. Percentage (%) of marks in PCB or PCM.

How to apply: Application in sealed envelope specifying the course with above mentioned information and documents must reach the office (Drop-Box) of the Director of Medical Education, Assam, Sixmile, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 on or before 24th July, 2017. Application by post shall not be considered.
