Eligibility Criteria for RRB Group D

1. Educational Qualification
- Essential: Candidates must have passed Class 10th (High School/Matriculation) from a recognized Board/Institution.
- OR: Candidates holding a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
- OR: Candidates with an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate in relevant trades.
2. Age Limit (As on 01.01.2026)

Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay the application fee via online mode (Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI).
- General / OBC / EWS: Rs. 500/- (Rs. 400 is refundable after appearing in CBT).
- SC / ST / PwBD / Female / Ex-Servicemen: Rs. 250/- (Fully refundable after appearing in CBT).
Selection Process
The recruitment process for RRB Group D involves four stages. Candidates must clear each stage to proceed to the next.
- Computer Based Test (CBT): The written exam covering Science, Maths, Reasoning, and General Awareness.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Male: Lift 35kg for 100m in 2 mins & Run 1000m in 4 min 15 sec.
- Female: Lift 20kg for 100m in 2 mins & Run 1000m in 5 min 40 sec.
- Document Verification (DV): Verification of original certificates.
- Medical Examination: Candidates must meet the medical standards (A2, B1, B2, C1) prescribed for specific posts.
