State Anti-Drug & Prohibition Council, Assam, has released a job notification for the recruitment of 11 positions at De-addiction cum Rehabilitation centers in the districts of Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Golaghat, Sonitpur, Kamrup Metro, and Barpeta under the State Anti-Drug & Prohibition Council (SADPC), Assam. Post Details of SADPC Assam Recruitment

1. Accountant cum Clerk

• Number of Posts: 2
• Remuneration: ₹10,000/- per month (Fixed)
• Educational Qualification: Commerce Graduate from a recognized University.
• Required Experience: Knowledge of Accounts and working knowledge of Computer.
• Age: Minimum 18 Years as of 01.01.2023. Maximum age should not exceed 40 years as of 01.01.2023.

2. Chowkidar

• Number of Posts: 2
• Remuneration: ₹7,500/- per month (Fixed)
• Educational Qualification: Minimum Class-VIII Passed
• Age: Minimum 18 Years as of 01.01.2023. Maximum age should not exceed 40 years as of 01.01.2023.

3. Peer Educator

• Number of Posts: 3
• Remuneration: ₹9,000/- per month (Fixed)
• Educational Qualification: Nil
• Required Experience:
  • Should be literate.
  • Ex-drug user with 1-2 years of sobriety.
  • Willing to work among the drug-using population and possess qualities like empathy and communication skills.
  • Willing to get trained and agrees to refrain from using, buying, or selling drugs.
  • Ready to work for the prevention of harmful drug use and relapse.
• Age: Minimum 18 Years as of 01.01.2023. Maximum age should not exceed 40 years as of 01.01.2023.

4. Psychologist

• Number of Posts: 2
• Remuneration: ₹12,500/- per month (Fixed)
• Educational Qualification: Graduate in Psychology/Community Science from a recognized University.
• Required Experience: Minimum 01 (one) year of experience in the field of De-addiction or Counselling. Previous working experience with Govt./NGO, etc. Should have knowledge of English/Hindi/local language and Computer.
• Age: Minimum 18 Years as of 01.01.2023. Maximum age should not exceed 40 years as of 01.01.2023.

5. Social Worker

• Number of Posts: 1
• Remuneration: ₹12,500/- per month (Fixed)
• Educational Qualification: Graduate in Social Work/Sociology/Psychology/Community Science from a recognized University.
• Required Experience: Minimum 01 (one) year of experience in the field of De-addiction or relevant field/issues of Social security. Previous working experience with Govt./NGO, etc. Should have knowledge of English/Hindi/local language and computer.
• Age: Minimum 18 Years as of 01.01.2023. Maximum age should not exceed 40 years as of 01.01.2023.

6. Project Coordinator cum Vocational Counsellor

• Number of Posts: 1
• Remuneration: ₹15,000/- per month (Fixed)
• Educational Qualification: Graduate in Social Work/Sociology/social science from a recognized University.
• Required Experience: Minimum 01 (one) year of working experience in such centers or related fields and demonstrable capabilities for running such centers. The candidate must have a working knowledge of Computer.
• Age: Minimum 18 Years as of 01.01.2023. Maximum age should not exceed 40 years as of 01.01.2023.
