Eligibility Criteria for SBI CBO Vacancy
1. Educational Qualification (As of 31.12.2025)
- Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
2. Age Limit (As of 31.12.2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Candidates must have been born between 01.01.1996 and 31.12.2004 (both dates inclusive).
- Age Relaxation: Upper age limit relaxation is applicable (OBC/MOBC: 3 years, SC/ST: 5 years, PwD: 10 years).
3. Experience Requirement
- Candidates generally require a minimum of 2 years of experience (as of 31.12.2025) as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank.
SBI CBO Selection Process: Three-Phase Evaluation
The recruitment process is rigorous and designed to test both theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
Phase I: Online Test (170 Marks)
The online test is divided into two parts:
- Objective Test (120 Marks): 2 hours duration with four sections (English, Banking Knowledge, General Awareness/Economy, Computer Aptitude). Note: There is no negative marking.
- Descriptive Test (50 Marks): 30 minutes duration. It involves Letter Writing and Essay tasks to test English proficiency.
