In cancellation of earlier two advertisements dated 27.12.2017 & 22.06.2018, Social Welfare Department, Govt. of Assam proposes to invite fresh applications for filling up the posts of 2(two) Nos. of Members in Assam State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (ASCPCR) as mentioned in Section 17(2) (d) of the CPCR Act.
The Assam State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (ASCPCR) is a statutory body, constituted by Government of Assam in exercise of the powers conferred on and perform the functions assigned to it under the Commission for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005.

Eligibility Criteria: To be appointed as Member, a person has to be an eminent person, below the age of 60 years and has done outstanding work for promoting the welfare of children, particularly in the field of:- (i) Education; (ii) Elimination of Child Labour or Children in distress.
Pay: The salaries and allowances payable to and other terms and conditions of service of the members shall be such as may be prescribed by the State Government.
