South Salmara Mankachar Judiciary Recruitment 2026:  The Office of the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), South Salmara Mankachar, has released an official advertisement inviting applications from eligible and dedicated Indian citizens to fill up sanctioned vacant posts. The recruitment drive aims to hire candidates for the positions of Process Server and Peon in the establishment of the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (M), Hatsingimari, and the Chief Judicial Magistrate, South Salmara Mankachar.

Vacancy Details & Salary Structure

The recruitment is for two distinct categories. Candidates must check the reservation status and pay scale before applying.

1. Process Server

• No. of Posts: 01
• Category Reservation: OBC/MOBC (Reserved for Women)
• Pay Scale: Pay Band-2 (Rs. 14,000 – Rs. 60,500) + Grade Pay Rs. 5,200/-

2. Peon

• No. of Posts: 02
• Category Reservation:
  • Scheduled Tribe (Hills) [ST-H]: 01
  • Scheduled Caste [SC]: 01
• Pay Scale: Pay Band-1 (Rs. 12,000 – Rs. 52,000) + Grade Pay Rs. 3,900/-

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must strictly adhere to the educational and age limits mentioned in the advertisement.

Educational Qualification

• For Process Server:
  • Must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
  • Must have knowledge of the Assamese language.
• For Peon:
  • Minimum: Must be Class VIII (8) passed.
  • Maximum: Candidates must have passed Class VIII but should not have passed HSSLC/HS (Class 12).
  • Note: Candidates who have passed HSSLC (Class 12) or above are INELIGIBLE to apply. A notarized affidavit regarding the highest educational qualification must be submitted.

Age Limit (As on 01.01.2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age:
  • OBC/MOBC: 43 Years
  • SC & ST (H): 45 Years
• Relaxation for PwBD candidates is applicable as per government rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a Written Examination followed by a Viva-Voce/Interview.

For Process Server:

1. Written Examination: 100 Marks (2 Hours).
   • Syllabus: English, General Awareness, Mathematical Ability, Aptitude, and Knowledge of Assamese Language.
2. Viva-Voce: 50 Marks.
   • Candidates equivalent to 3 times the number of vacancies (1:3 ratio) will be called for the interview based on merit.
   • Condition: Candidate must secure at least 50% marks in the written test to be qualified.

For Peon:

1. Written Examination: 50 Marks (1 Hour).
   • Syllabus: English, General Awareness, Mathematical Ability, Aptitude, and Knowledge of Assamese Language.
2. Viva-Voce: 15 Marks.
   • Selection ratio for interview is 1:3.
   • Condition: Candidate must secure at least 50% marks in the written test to be qualified.
