SSC JE Syllabus consists of three subjects. They are conducted online based.

  • General Intelligence and Reasoning
  • General Awareness
  • General Engineering FOR Civil and Structural OR Electrical and Mechanical

NOTE- In SSC junior engineer(JE) General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness are compulsory for all. But depending on you branch. You need to choose Civil and Structural OR Electrical and Mechanical.

SSC JE has three subjects but you need to give only one of the three subjects. depending upon your branch. And you will be given 2 hours and will have 300 marks.

RCC Design: Reinforced brick works, columns, staircases, retaining wall, water tanks. Steel Design: Steel design and construction of steel columns, beams of roof trusses and plate girders. RCC beams and flexural strength, shear strength, bond strength, design of singly reinforced and double reinforced beams, cantilever beams.    T-beams, lintels.    One way and two way slabs, isolated footings.
