SSC MTS Notice for 2020 has been released on the SSC calendar 2020.The from fill up will start form 2nd of June 2020. Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination-2020 (Paper-I) Exam will be held form 26th October.

Now i say in all my preparation blogs that to crack any exam you need understand you exam pattern and syllabus first. If you do that well you 20 % work is done. In this many years of my teaching, i have seen students that are comparatively less talented the other but have cracked the exam because of great understanding of what question to come in the exam?

SSC MTS Preparation Strategy: SYLLABUS
The tier 1 the exam 1 is where the all hard work need to be done. Because you Tier 1 marks be taken for selection. Tier 2 is just for qualifying purpose. Now the syllabus is as follows
General Intelligence and reasoning
Number & Alphabetical Series, Coding Decoding, Analogy, Odd one Out, Embedded or Complete the Image, Counting Figure, Blood relations, Matrix, Mathematical Calculations, Words order, Syllogism, Directions Sense, Ranking, Non-verbal: Paper Folding & Cutting, Mirror Image.
Quantitative aptitude
Number System/HCF/LCM, Percentage, Average, Time & Work, Profit & Loss, Ratio, Mixture & Allegation, Time Speed Distance, CI & SI, Geometry, Mensuration, Trigonometry, DI( Data Interpretation) Algebra.
General Awareness
Geography, History, Political Science, General science, Economics (Mostly current affairs) and current affairs.
English
Basic Spot the error, Fill in the blanks, Synonyms, Antonyms, Spelling and detecting mis-spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, One word substitution, Improvement of sentences, Comprehension Passage.
SSC MTS Preparation Strategy: How to prepare for the exam?
Now you have analyses the exam pattern and syllabus so you will have yourself a good idea of how the exam works. Now you may be weak at any subject or may have a bit of experience, it doesn’t matter.
Now assuming that you have at least 2 month. No i will give different strategy for each subject and timing will be also different. Now you must study at least 6 hours in the first 40 days. Next 20 days if your all basic concept are completed than you can do your mock test.
English
SSC MTS does not stretch you level of English. Basic grammar, synonyms and antonyms are asked. Buy a book SP BAKSHIS ARIHANT PUBLICATION, OBJECTIVE ENGLISH.Try give atleast 1.5 to 2 hours a day depending upon your level.
- Read all the grammar stuff portion everyday.
- After reading every topic form grammar, take any newspaper and read the editorial page and try relate the rules that you have studied just now.
- Follow this process. This will make your English grammar and comprehension clear.
- For synonyms and antonyms. Get last 10 years question papers and find the synonyms and antonyms. Surely no other word meaning will come.
- After 30 days you start giving mock test. Try giving every three days. After finishing the grammar portion try giving mock test every day.
- After finishing all the concepts of grammar don’t stop reading newspaper and relating you rules.
General Intelligence and Reasoning
This is a scoring portion and giving 1 hour every day will also finish all topics in about 30 days. But don’t forget to practice. Practicing is main key as you speed is very important.

This book is more thane enough for SSC MTS even chsl. This has chapterwise questions, and has different types of question. If you even do 20 question for each types from every chapter. I can guarantee you that you get any new question in the exam.
Quantitative aptitude
Many students across India are weak at mathematics, But don’t worry i will give a solution on how to counter this problem.
Make you basic skill strong. Subtraction, addition, and VODMAS etc
Now there lots of great books in the market. I may give any name and if finish that than you will will crack the exam. But that’s not the mots efficient way. This is because the best around the market are for all types of quants problems. And in SSC MTS you require a very low level of problems. And in three month its not easy to complete this.

General Awareness
Now this part has no shortcut and their is a quote in ssc exams,” Nothing is enough for G.K”. This line is widely used because of the nature of SSC. Follow these tips to get atlest 15 to 20 marks on ssc mts
Go through all last year question papers. And follow the static portion.
Follow any you tube channel that is related to study, where daily current affairs is given. I can’t say the name of the channels because of business issues.
Remember if you even follow all last 10 year question paper, you will at lest get 10 to 14 question in common.
