Eligibility Criteria for SSUHS BPharm & DPharm Admission

Candidates must ensure they fulfill all the following eligibility conditions before submitting their application for the pharmacy courses for the 2026 session:

Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of India.

Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of 31 December 2026. (Currently, there is no specified upper age limit for admission).

Residency Requirement: A Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Assam is mandatory for candidates seeking admission into Government institutes in the state.

Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit to pursue and complete the pharmacy education course.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) examination or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board, council, or university with the following mandatory subjects:

Students who have completed their 10+2 education through non-formal or open schooling systems (such as NIOS or other State Open Schools) are not eligible for admission to the B.Pharm course as per current regulatory guidelines.

Candidates are required to pay the CEE entrance examination fee strictly through the online payment mode. The application will only be considered complete after the successful transaction of the prescribed fee.

For candidates appearing for admission into Pharmacy courses, Question No. 1 to 75 in the Booklet and OMR Sheet (English, Physics, Chemistry) are mandatory. Question No. 76 to 100 contains two parts: Biology and Mathematics. Candidates must answer any one of these parts based on the subject opted at the time of application.
