Qualification:

• Candidates must have the latest UGC Norms (including NET/SLET/ SET). Candidates with Ph.D. awarded as per UGC Regulations 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET.
• The candidates must have minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade level) in the concerned subject A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided to SC/ST/PWD candidates. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided to the Ph.D. holders who have obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19th Sept./1991. The candidates will have to quire their qualifications as on the last date for submitting the application. Eligibility like M.Phil./ Ph.D./ Seminar papers/ Publications have to be submitted on the date of the interview and not beyond.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 38 years as on 01.01.2019, relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates.

Salary: Revised UGC scale of pay plus allowances admissible under the rules.
