Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for these esteemed positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Engineering Disciplines (Applied Sciences, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering & Technology)

• A Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B. Tech. / B.S.) and a Master’s degree (M.E. / M. Tech. / M.S.) or an Integrated M.Tech. in the relevant branch with first-class or equivalent qualifications in either degree.

Design Discipline

• A four-year Bachelor’s degree (10+2+4) in Design or Engineering with first-class qualifications and a Master of Design (M.Des.) in Design, Interaction Design, or a related field approved by AICTE/UGC/Institute of National Importance, also with first-class qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates with design-related industrial or professional experience or a Ph.D. in Design.

Other Disciplines

• A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an accredited foreign university. Additionally, candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or an equivalent test like SLET/SET. Alternatively, candidates who hold a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission Regulations are exempt from NET/SET/SLET. Foreign Ph.D. degrees from top 500 ranked universities in the World University Ranking are also eligible.

Emoluments

Guest Faculty members will receive an attractive compensation package of Rs. 1,500/- per lecture, with a maximum monthly limit of Rs. 50,000/-. Please note that no other allowances will be provided.
