You can also apply for transfer if you are suffering from a serious illness. Female teachers can also apply if they have special difficulties.
On the other hand, those whose parents need care can also apply. Also, husbands and wives who are far away can apply.
There will be mutual transfer between teachers of the same level. The education department will now take the teachers to their convenient places and closer to their homes as much as possible. He said the government will also transfer teachers in schools through a fair process.
Meanwhile, Education Minister Ranoj Pegu said many teachers have not joined the jobs despite getting new jobs and arrangements will be made to reform the education department in the coming days.

Good News for Assam TET Teachers!
Bringing some good news for Assam Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) qualified teachers, the State Education Department has issued a notification stating that the TET qualified teachers do not have to reappear in TET examinations.
Thenotification issued by Manindar Singh, the Additional Chief Secretary of AssamEducation Department, stated that the TET qualified teachers can continue theirjob without appearing in another TET examination.
It maybe mentioned here that around 11,447 state-pool teachers and 30,087 SSAteachers have been demanding regularization of their job.
