Position: Language Editor Consultant
Number of Positions: 1
Qualifications:
- Post-graduation in English/Mass Communication/Health and Allied subjects.
- Previous experience in editing work related to health topics.
- Keen eye for detail and perfection.
Desirable Requirements:
- Post-graduation degree in social sciences or related field with excellent English language skills.
- 2-3 years of experience in manuscript writing, published papers in reputed journals, and editing peer-reviewed journals.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office or Google Docs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Job Roles:
- Conduct English language editing of policy/technical briefs related to the project.
- Edit manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications, checking for grammar, technical errors, and content flow.
- Thorough proofreading of various documents as requested by the project head.
Remuneration:
Compensation will range from 1000 to 1200 per page, based on the level of editing required (medium to high). Payment will be issued upon submission of the edited document.
