UGC-NET Exam Postponed, To Be Held From September 24: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the UGC National Entrance Test (UGC-NET) 2020 as the dates of the examination were clashing with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) exam.

The UGC-NET 2020 was supposed to be conducted from September 16 to 25. It will now be conducted from September 24 onwards.

The National Testing Agency will be conducting ICAR exams on 16th, 17th, 22nd and 23rd September. In view of that, UGC-NET 2020 Exam will now be held from September 24 onwards,” said Sadhana Parashar, Senior Director, NTA.

She added that the examination is being postponed as there are some common candidates in both exams and the requests received thereof. The exact schedule of subject-wise and shift-wise details will be uploaded subsequently.

The downloading of Admit Cards indicating Roll Number, Examination Centre, Date, Shift and timing of Examination will be announced shortly on the official website (ugcnet.nta.nic.in) of UGC- NET Examination, 2020.

The candidates and their parents are advised to keep visiting the official website(s) (ugcnet.nta.nic.in and www.nta.ac.in) for latest updates of UGC-NET Examination, 2020.
