(A) For Admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and Air Force Academy:

The written exam consists of three papers, i.e., English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics, with a duration of 2 hours each. Each paper carries a maximum of 100 marks.

  • English: The paper is designed to test the candidates’ understanding of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
  • General Knowledge: The paper covers various topics, including current affairs, history, geography, economics, and defense-related matters.
  • Elementary Mathematics: The paper covers topics such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.

(B) For Admission to Officers’ Training Academy:

The written exam consists of two papers, i.e., English and General Knowledge, with a duration of 2 hours each. Each paper carries a maximum of 100 marks.

  • Height: The minimum acceptable height for male candidates is 162.5 cms, whereas for female candidates, it is 157.5 cms.
  • Leg length: The minimum acceptable leg length for male candidates is 99 cms, and the maximum acceptable leg length is 120 cms. For female candidates, the minimum acceptable leg length is 96 cms, and the maximum acceptable leg length is 120 cms.
  • Thigh length: The maximum acceptable thigh length for male and female candidates is 64 cms.
