A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 12/11/2015 at 9-30 A.M. in the Bhojraj Seth Conference Hall of the Vice-Chancellor’s Office, D.U. for two temporary posts of Assistant Professor on contract basis in the M. Tech (Exploration Geophysics) Programme, Department of Applied Geology, D.U. with the following qualification.

Vacancy Details:

Name of the post: Assistant Professor

Qualification: M.Tech/ M.Sc. Tech/ Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Petroleum Exploration Geophysics/ or, any other equivalent degrees in Geophysics fulfilling the UGC norms. Moreover, the candidates should have either of the following: NET/GATE/SET or Ph.D.

Specialization: Though not mandatory candidates having specialization in Inversion, Gravity-Magnetic methods, Electrical and Electromagnetic Techniques (PostNo. 1)/ and Seismology, Geophysical Signal Theory & Seismic Data Processing (Post No. 2) will be given preference.

Salary: Rs. 25,000/- per month (Consolidated). [for those who have either NET/GATE/SET or Ph.D.] and Rs. 20,000/- per month (Consolidated) [For those not having either NET/GATE/SET or Ph.D.]

Interested candidates having the requisite qualification may appear in the interview with copies of bio-data, attested copies of all testimonials and experience certificate, (if any) along with the original certificates of qualifications for verification.

They will have to register their names as candidates by paying Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred) only before interview.
